Cooking Instructions
Preparation
- Peel the ginkgo nuts, remove the inner skins, and rinse thoroughly.
- Wash the lily bulbs and red dates; remove the pits from the dates.
- Slice the beef thinly and set aside.
Boiling the Soup
- Place lily bulbs, ginkgo nuts, and ginger into a clay pot.
- Add 2,000 ml (about 8 cups) of clean water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer until the lily bulbs and ginkgo nuts become tender.
